The
Interactive Learning Center is now accepting proposals for the seventh
(7th)
batch of the Interactive Multimedia Instructional Material
Development Grant.
The University of the Philippines Mindanao will be participating in the
Philippine Biodiversity Expedition Symposium on June 8, 2011 from 8:00
am to 5:00 p.m. The venue will be at the Audio Visual Room, ILC
building.
The Philippine Biodiversity Expedition is a joint undertaking of the
University of the Philippines and California Academy of Sciences which
aims to come up with comprehensive survey of both terrestrial and marine
diversity. The initial findings of the expedition shall be presented by
the Filipino and American scientists in the said symposium.
The
Interactive Learning Center (ILC) will
conduct a training on Scribus, an open source desktop publishing tool
which can assist users in creating instructional materials as well
as materials for information dissemination, every Monday of September.
The training will start on Monday, September 13, 2010 from 9:00 A.M.
to 12:00 P.M.

It has been a wonderful experience last Monday, September 13, 2010,
when the faculty and staff joined together during a workshop on
SCRIBUS:an Open Source Desktop Publishing Tool with Ms. Maepril Louise
T. Masacupan as the Resource Speaker.

Interactive Learning Center (ILC) conducted a 2-3 hour Orientation to
all UP Mindanao faculty members on interactive learning object
development last August 9, 2010 (Monday) 10:00 AM – 12:00 NN.
